3 Rules to be a Dapper Man in 2017

Happy New Year, fellow Zengers. It’s time to tackle another 365 like you’re the running back on the Denver Broncos. This is your year; a year to be taken seriously; a year to finally get that promotion you’ve been working hard for or the hot babe you've been eying all of last year. 2017 is basically the year to be the man you want to be. It starts with your wardrobe and extends well beyond the closet doors. Follow these rules to be a dapper man in 2017, and you will have everyone eating out of the palm of your hand by February.

Clean out that closet

As men, fashion isn’t always our top priority. You may like it; you may even love it, shopping regularly so you can continue to look like the dapper man that you are. However, you still probably have other things you like more. It's a guy thing.  As such, our closets usually pay the price.
We aren’t women and we rarely go through our wardrobe, replacing styles that no longer fit the men’s fashion trends, or worse, the era altogether.
So, the very first rule of 2017 is to raid your closet and get rid of some clothes. Anything outdated or faded can go. Clothes that have lost their structure or styles that simply don’t portray the sophisticated style you want to achieve in 2017 need to be eliminated. If you want to be taken seriously, start in your wardrobe.
It sounds shallow but let’s be honest, the world is shallow. If a man in a suit walks into a coffee shop alongside a man wearing dirty, generic clothing, who do you think is going to be taken more seriously? The answers obvious. So don't skip over this step.

Welcome versatility into your style

Women have a style secret hidden in their closet that is rarely talked about – versatility. They purchase fashion that can be worn several different ways, in new outfits every day, and that resonate a unique appeal every time they put it on.

Shopping versatile fashion is an affordable way to get more out of your wardrobe without having to spend more money or take up more closet space.

This is a rule that men need to jump on in 2017. The fashion industry for men is often limited. It’s not like we have fringes, frills, and fur to transform our wardrobe into a new look every day. So, we need to have ways to make that monkey suit or redundant dress shirt look different. Thus, bracelets for men are the largest trend of last year and undeniably, this year as well.
One thing you have to know though is if you want to use your wardrobe for versatility, you need to focus on quality because those items are going to be worn way more than other pieces. In other words, you can change out your dress shirt for a new one every day of the week, but your bracelets are still going to be worn consistently, which brings us to the next 2017 rule of a dapper man.

Know the difference between cheap and quality

The difference between cheap and quality goes far beyond the price. If this is news to you, then this 2017 rule is definitely needed within your dapper wardrobe.
Cheap style is just that – cheap. It looks cheap, it smells cheap, it costs cheap and well, your look will also be just as a cheap.
Quality style is an entirely different realm of men’s fashion that unfortunately, a lot of men overlook. While the actual product is better looking and more durable, the style of quality translates into a dapper and sophisticated appeal.
So saving a couple of bucks on bracelets for men usually does more damage than what you may think. The choice is yours - save a couple bucks and look cheap, or shop quality men's accessories and prevail.

If you’re trying to achieve a stronger and better persona in 2017, and want the world to take you seriously, it’s time to start shopping quality styles.

As you give yourself a sophisticated makeover in 2017, Zenger will be doing the same with new styles, accessories and men's bracelets that will help you achieve the dapper role you’re going for.

Size Guide
You can use a measuring tape to measure your wrist. Wrap the tape measure around the wrist on which you plan to wear your ZENGER bracelet. Make a note of the number at the point where the tape meets the 0. To ensure the bracelet fits comfortably, add 0.50 inch. You can then add or subtract according to whether you prefer a loose, exact or tight fit. Below is a picture on how to measure your wrist.
