3 Things to be Mindful of when Shopping Men's Jewelry

To some, men’s jewelry may be a slab of material that truly has no representation of who they are. Or worse, maybe that slab of material does tells the world a little too much about their effortless appeal. Whatever it is, you don’t ever want to be the guy that looks careless or not well put together. Whether you’re walking into the office or setting up stage at a local bar, you never want to appear to be the guy that literally just came off the streets. There are some things you should be mindful of when shopping men’s jewelry to ensure that the bracelets you select showcase the best version of you and your style.

Jewelry Has Meaning

You may not be wearing a skull bracelet for any other reason than the fact that it’s super badass, but to some, that skull has meaning. There are many pendants and symbols that can be found on all kinds of men’s jewelry that are edgy and epic, but you may want to also be mindful of what that symbol could be saying about you. Sure, it looks cool but what does it tell people. Perception is everything. You don’t want to give off the wrong impression simply because you were wearing a bracelet that you didn’t know the meaning of. In other words, you don’t want to find out that you just walked into a job interview with an epic symbol bracelet on, only to later find out that it was total satanic and meant that you worshiped the devil or something. Now, wearing the same bracelet while you're out on the town with the guys would be super stylish.

So, remember – jewelry has meaning; maybe not to you, but it’s always worth checking out anyway just to make sure those pendants and symbols represent your individual taste. If you’re truly badass and just don’t care what other people think, than all the power to you. We like it!

Inappropriate Styles are Absolutely Appropriate… Sometimes

With the prior said, that’s doesn’t mean that you have to avoid all of the awesome Macrame bracelets that have a skull or evil eye on them. And that’s especially true if that style of men’s accessories speaks to your individuality. If that’s the case, you should be wearing them because that is you, and that’s what Zenger is all about! However, you do want to be mindful of where you wear “inappropriate” styles because I don’t think a scull beaded bracelet will go over too well at church on Sunday.

The Big Bad Business Dress Code

If you work in a corporate office or somewhere that enforces a dress code, you may want to give that good ole’ company booklet a look over. Some businesses are very strict on what is permitted within your wardrobe. Some may even forbid you from wearing bracelets – especially if you work in a factory and men’s accessories are considered to be a danger. This doesn’t mean that you can’t wear men’s jewelry. It just means that you can’t wear your dapper Macrame bracelets to work. The good thing is that, while there are some styles that are perfect for some pints are the pub with the guys, there are just as many men’s bracelets that are professional and sophisticated. You just have to first figure out if your dress code is favorable of you looking totally epic at work.

If not, you always have your Zenger collections to rock on the evenings and weekends. And let’s get serious, that’s when the real business goes down! Head on over to Zenger, and buy some men’s bracelets that tell the world who you are. You just may have to be mindful of certain situations, depending on the styles you choose. Or you could just be a badass and rock them anyway, wherever your day takes you. Now that's the kind of attitude we like!

Size Guide
You can use a measuring tape to measure your wrist. Wrap the tape measure around the wrist on which you plan to wear your ZENGER bracelet. Make a note of the number at the point where the tape meets the 0. To ensure the bracelet fits comfortably, add 0.50 inch. You can then add or subtract according to whether you prefer a loose, exact or tight fit. Below is a picture on how to measure your wrist.
